Moncton Doula Care

Natural Childbirth Guidance and Support

About

Earthama

Nature inspired mother, educator, communicator, life change facilitator, doula.. this is Lisa, the creator of Moncton Doula Care.  She has respectfully earned the name “Earthama” which is the Hindi word for ‘Earth Mother.’

Earthama shares a  home with her two youngest children Asaya and Maya.  She has given birth to seven children naturally.  She has personal experience giving birth in a traditional hospital setting, birthing centre accompanied by midwife, home birth supported by a lay midwife and two successful free births.

Earthama has many interests that include nature,  natural parenting, various types of healing, indigenous ways, whole health, herbs, women’s issues, eco conscious travel, reading, yoga, sustainable living, communication, empowerment and spirituality.

After an extended apprenticeship with a naturopath, short term apprentice with an acupuncturist, work in a counseling centre, a lot of self study, world travel and life experience, Earthama has much to share.  She has a gift for being a facilitator of change and guiding people through life transitions.

Earthama  is a wise woman doula. She believes in allowing nature to be the teacher and being in harmony with the ways of nature.  She respects the choice of the individual but is not scientific or medical like in her own approach.  She will simply offer wisdom from a womans perspective when asked.

I am a woman that has been pregnant, given birth and a Mother with experience to share. I believe in being aware of the moment and helping to create the space that is needed for you to experience your wholeness through the journey into motherhood.  By harmonizing with your intentions the atmosphere is created to suite your needs.
