Prenatal Services

During your pregnancy I will meet with you according to what you desire. We will set a few sessions in your home, mine or a suitable location prior to birth. However, if you would like less or more just let me know. Through compassionate communication we will talk together. Whole health, natural baby care, natural living and parenting, herbals, blessing ways, connecting you with various resources if needed are just some of the areas that we can discuss. I will make myself available by telephone and email as well.

Birth

At the time you are ready to give birth you decide when you would like me to arrive.  Whether you are birthing at home, a birthing centre or hospital we will arrange what is best for the situation.  I will stay with you and the baby up to two hours after the birth, leaving when mother, baby and family is settled.

Postpartum Visits

I will set up a visit within the first couple days after the birth.  During this time we will have the opportunity to talk about  breastfeeding, nutrition, natural baby care, nourishing yourself as a new Mama, family transition or any concerns you may have.  I will be available for running errands, preparing simple whole foods, light clean up or other general needs.
We will have another visit during your baby moon at a time of your choice as a follow up to the transition.

Fees: please contact if desiring prenatal, birth and postnatal services for full cost

I am also available for additional days by the hour during prenatal or postpartum for running errands, cooking whole food meals, light clean up, baby laundry or other general needs.

Fees:  $25.00 per hour (unless needing multiple hours/days then rates change)

I believe that everyone should have support and encouragement regardless of their financial situation.  If you are not able to pay the full cost please talk with me.  I will offer a sliding fee if necessary and am willing to except trade if needed.

Blessingways ~ Heart Centered Ceremonies

As a facilitator of blessing ways and heart centered ceremonies I will work with you or your friends and family to create a celebration that honors your rite of passage.  A blessing way is a meaningful and heart centered way to honor mother and baby during the last few weeks of pregnancy in preparation for the birth.

A baby naming ceremony is another way to celebrate and honor the baby as she/he begins their life journey.  I will work with you to create whatever harmonizes with your intentions.

Birthing Jewelry

Creating a birthing necklace or other jewelry is a beautiful way to honor yourself and baby during pregnancy.  By talking with you I will create a unique piece of art that will symbolize what is most important to you.

Birth Story

A birth story is a creative approach to share your birth experience with others.  I encourage mothers to write their own birth stories, but for those that prefer I will  compose your experience for you.  You will have a memoir to pass along to those you choose.

Fees:  $75.00 per story
